Using the Book Study Guides

The book study guides are designed to be used to facilitate a book study of the text Teaching for Biliteracy:  Strengthening Bridges between Languages.

 Sample Book Study Schedule

A book study can be a great way to introduce a group of education professionals to the ideas of biliteracy, the Bridge, and the multilingual perspective.  Facilitators may use only one or two of the activities, or they may choose to use all the activities over the course of a multi-session book study.  Click the link for a sample book study schedule:

These objectives provide a description of what the participants will do during each activity.

 

Instructions for activities, and notes for book study leader
